What distinguishes Come To The Sahara is their deep commitment to supporting local communities. Proudly Moroccan-owned (by Imad, who grew up in Morocco) and operated with Canadian administrative support, they exclusively partner with Moroccan-owned accommodations, restaurants, and businesses. Their focus on enriching Moroccan culture and economy sets them apart from other tour companies. They ensure fair wages and dignified treatment for their drivers, and every tour celebrates and sustains Morocco’s vibrant, diverse culture while strengthening its economy.
Because they’re not a typical Western tour company, Come To The Sahara needed a website that authentically reflected their values and vision. That’s where Hop Studios came in.
We started by upgrading their WordPress CMS—removing unnecessary plugins and updating PHP and themes to improve speed, security, and ease of maintenance. We also trained their team to confidently manage the backend themselves.
In 2024, we completed a visual and structural refresh. While the original imagery was beautiful, it didn’t fully capture the unique, off-the-beaten-path experiences that define Come To The Sahara. Their team wanted a balance of iconic Moroccan sights alongside the special moments that only they provide. Bringing that vision to life through stunning landscapes and mouthwatering cuisine was pure joy—and yes, it inspired serious wanderlust across our team!
