September is shaping up to be a very busy month for the Hop Studios gang.
There are plenty of conferences and events, especially by the end of the month, where you’ll be able to find a Hopper or two (maybe even all five) in attendance. Coming up this week, Susie will be presenting at IZEAFest, a three-day blogging conference in Orlando, Florida. Her talk is about improving your content, and will feature fun, exciting, and innovative blogs doing creative things with content. She’s always looking for suggestions, so please leave a comment if you have any. (Susie will be sharing her presentation at a later date.)
The first ever EE Roadshow arrives on Friday, September 26th, and is your opportunity to learn more about ExpressionEngine for the low low cost of $50. It’s an all day training and networking event for users and developers, brought to you by the EE evangelists at Boxcar Marketing, Venn Communications and Hop Studios. Hot on the heels of the EE Roadshow is BarCamp Vancouver on Saturday, September 27th. This year the event will be taking place at various locations around Granville Island, and feature sessions such as WordCamp and PhotoCamp. In keeping with the usual BarCamp way of working, there are lots of other sessions yet to be determined. This unconference is a very popular yearly event in Vancouver, as evidenced by all the event tickets claimed more than a month in advance. Luckily we booked our tickets early. 😉
