We love working with conscious businesses that support their communities and do good in the world! When fellow certified B Corp business Conscious Revolution approached Hop Studios in April 2024, they had recently moved their website from WordPress to Squarespace. They were looking for an expert to help them navigate the new system, and Hop was happy to help out.

Conscious Revolution, a woman-owned consultancy and a certified B Corp, focuses on creating meaningful changes and advocating for “soul-full” connections within organizations and communities. They value creating human connections, discovering new ways of thinking by nurturing curiosity, and discovering joy in all parts of their lives. We love Conscious Revolution’s mission to create sustainable change so that leaders can reach their goals and transform themselves and their businesses.

Moving a website from one platform to another can be an exciting adventure, but it comes with a learning curve, sometimes a steep one. That’s why we’re experts in multiple content management systems, so you don’t have to be!

Conscious Revolution can ask us to investigate anything they can’t figure out in Squarespace, which despite excellent documentation, does have its little foibles. We believe every business should feel confident and comfortable with whatever CMS they’re using, and we are happy to train our clients in any area in which they need more guidance.

We’ve assisted with some minor adjustments, such as resolving alignment issues in the footer, fixing some problems linking on their event page, and figuring out how to embed a Google Sheet table in a Squarespace page.

With their unique offerings of in-person classes and workshops, they also offer online, on-demand courses. These were previously hosted on Teachable, but with the move to Squarespace, they were interested in an alternative place to house these. We helped Conscious Revolution figure out how membership and classes work on Squarespace. We also spent some time reviewing Google Analytics and how it can be used to track and measure business metrics.

Conscious Revolution focuses on creating meaningful changes and advocating for soulful connections within organizations and communities; it was no surprise that they were interested in learning more about making their website accessible. Web accessibility is about ensuring that your website is user-friendly to everyone, including people experiencing disabilities, for example, with vision or motor control. Not only does having an accessible website allow people to navigate it more easily, but it can also improve your SEO! After a complimentary accessibility review, which is part of the Hop Studios Client Care Program, Conscious Revolution chose to focus on the Level A standard for starters, but there is more to come.

We are currently working on improving their privacy policy and consent acquisition to ensure the site is following pertinent privacy laws.
