Carla and Stephen made a life-changing decision: sell the house, buy a boat, and sail around the world with their family aboard a vessel they named Good Soul. As they explore stunning destinations, they’re documenting their adventures on a brand new Wix site, and we had the pleasure of helping them get it launched before they cast off.
First, we secured their domain and helped them customize a pre-built Wix theme to perfectly capture the spirit of their adventure. Wix’s no-code approach made it easy to get the site up quickly so they could focus on the important stuff—like piloting the boat!
We wanted Carla and Stephen to have full control over the site, so we trained them on how to:
- Modify everything the site visually
- Change the contact form settings and functionality as needed
- Set up blog categories
- Update the navigation menu
Now they can manage everything themselves, no matter where in the world they happen to be.
The site’s best feature is their travel blog—a digital logbook where they share stories, updates and discoveries from the voyage. We set up an automation that notifies subscribers whenever there’s a new post, so friends, family, and fellow adventurers stay connected throughout the journey with minimal effort.
Another highlight is the interactive map that plots their route automatically. It’s a fun, visual way for visitors to follow along and see exactly where Good Soul is headed next.
