Paine Edmonds hired Hop Studios to give their website a new look and feel to reflect contemporary web design and the firm’s values.

Proudly serving British Columbia for more than 70 years, Paine Edmonds LLP was founded in 1945 by Paul Britton Paine and William Henry Kemp Edmonds. Based in Vancouver, they offer legal support in family law, employment, estates, disability claims, and more. Their first website launched in 1994 and has now seen four iterations over the last three decades.
When Paine Edmonds came to Hop Studios in June 2024, they felt that their site looked dated and text-heavy. They wanted a new website that was modern and streamlined, making it more searchable and user-friendly for new clients. Hop was very excited to take on this project! We love building and revamping websites.
They also needed to move the website to a new host, and needed a new content management system. We chose Wix to address both needs. One of the main goals for the new site was to ensure it would reflect Paine Edmond’s legal services and expertise. Therefore, the redesign had to clearly communicate their services in a concise way to strengthen their brand presence and attract new clients. As part of the redesign, we optimized each page for SEO, and set up a translation tool to make it easy for users to browse in their language.
Hop Studios passionately believes in building sites that are easy for clients to maintain themselves. Having trained Paine Edmonds on how to navigate the Wix UI, they can now easily make their own updates. (Of course, Hop Studios will be here to support them whenever assistance is needed!)
