ManageAssist, a leading professional workforce training company, first contacted Hop Studios in 2021 in search of a new development partner to provide ongoing support for their WordPress website. We were happy to step in and help. ManageAssist specializes in affordable solutions to support training departments, offering programs for both major corporations and small businesses. Their website serves as a hub for information on training courses, resources, and grant funding. They wanted to ensure the website was easy to navigate, that visitors could reliably reach them through the contact form, and that analytics were in place to give them better insight into site traffic.

Our first step was migrating their hosting from Site5 to Nexcess. This change improved site performance and speed, while also adding enhanced security features, daily backups and WordPress-optimized hosting for greater reliability. After migrating, we updated the DNS settings to point to the new server. To work around some SSL and DNS configuration issues during the transition, we set up Cloudflare, ensuring the site remained accessible and secure throughout the process.

Next, we updated the WordPress installation to ensure it was stable and current. We removed outdated plugins, deactivated an unsupported plugin that was blocking form submissions, and installed the WP Rocket plugin to improve speed and efficiency. Since then, we’ve provided ongoing maintenance to keep the site up to date and running smoothly.

Most recently, ManageAssist partnered with us to refresh their site’s design and layout. The goal was to modernize the look, highlight key offerings and improve usability.

Updates included:

• New header, footer, and simplified navigation to reduce clutter
• Homepage redesign with a “What’s New” carousel featuring testimonials, grant dates, and course updates — fully editable by the ManageAssist team
• Integration of the “About Us” content directly into the homepage to boost brand visibility
• New internal page designs, including “Grant Services” and “Training Solutions and Services”
• A customizable testimonial carousel

Because ManageAssist wanted more control over their website updates, we trained their team on managing the homepage carousel and testimonials.

The updated site now features a modern design, streamlined navigation, and enhanced functionality. Visitors enjoy a smoother user experience, and ManageAssist has more flexibility to maintain and update their content independently.
