Liz Bogard approached Hop Studios in 2024 as she prepared to launch a new holistic pet coaching business. She needed a website that reflected her distinctive approach to pet wellness–grounded, mindful, and compassionate. Hop Studios was excited to create a website from scratch that showcased Liz’s unique offerings and values.

We began with a discovery meeting to define Liz’s goals and priorities. She envisioned a single-page design that felt more like a conversation than like a traditional multi-page website. The site needed to explain her services, help clients understand her approach, and provide clear paths for booking consultations. Most importantly, the website had to feel like Liz herself.

Creating a site that reflects a brand’s true essence—especially for someone as thoughtful and unique as Liz’s—calls for a tailored touch. That’s where we came in.

Liz was wanting a calming design rooted in her holistic approach to pet wellness. Drawing inspiration from her logo and brand identity, we developed wireframes and mockups that balanced clean design, calming colours, and intuitive navigation. We worked with Liz to hone them based on her feedback and our recommendations, ensuring the final design aligned with her vision and also would best serve her goals.

Every new website needs the right domain name to go with it. We helped Liz select and register lizbogard-holisticpetwellnesscoach.com. We set up a Google Workspace account for her to have a professional, branded email address. This also helped Liz contain her client communications in one place.

With the design and domain in place, we built the site on Wix, a flexible CMS SAAS platform that’s ideal for small business owners (esentially, it’s software that’s hosted on cloud computers). Wix offers intuitive drag-and-drop editing, built-in SEO tools, and integrated booking and ecommerce functionality, allowing Liz to manage and grow her site with ease.  One of our favourite touches are the subtle animations that help bring the site to life and reflect the gentle and attentive nature of Liz’s services.

The final result is a warm, inviting digital presence that clearly communicates Liz’s commitment to treating the whole pet—mind, body, and spirit. Her holistic practice emphasizes prevention and long-term wellness in collaboration with veterinary professionals, and now her online presence reflects that vision. Through hands-on training, we made sure Liz felt comfortable managing the Wix platform herself, so she can update her site as her business evolves.
