DC Commute Times is the brainchild of Jeff Wong, who experiences the commuting horror himself as a resident of Arlington, VA. Jeff’s goal is to provide the timely information commuters need to make daily decisions for using roads, Metro, buses, trains, and even bikes.
The key to this site was to present important information in a way that can be easily digested, accessible from any kind of device. Here’s what we did, in that same style:
- interactive maps
- real-time status updates collated from various regional agencies
- integrated ads and content
- latest version of ExpressionEngine
- mobile-friendly design
- build for easy sharing on Facebook and Twitter
And we really enjoyed coming up with the branding and design for this lively, modern online media site.
Hop Studios translated my vision for a news and traffic website into online reality. From conception through planning and execution, they have patiently helped me understand the complexity and challenges of my ideas, and scoped the project to meet both immediate and longer-term business objectives.
The Hop team features seasoned professionals who are client-focused and results-driven. There are many other web designers that might enjoy greater notoriety, but there are few who can match Hop's skill and talent for making products with great aesthetics and functionality.
Your question: "Would I work with Hop Studios again?" My answer: "I continue to work with the Hop team as my concept evolves into the next big thing." I enthusiastically recommend Hop Studios for anyone looking to optimize their online presence.
